Wheat: weed Controll

Currently the wheat season is running and farmer activity is now a days to spray pesticides for controlling weed in the crop. For effective weed control, the following things should be considered on priority basis:

1. First Check/ observe your field weeds.
2. Purchase the Herbicides according to the weed problems.
3. Read the Herbicide label before the spray.
4. Calibration of  spray machine (How much water is need to spray one acre)
5. Use clean water for preparation of spray solution.
6. Always use Herbicide Nozzle  to control weeds ( Flat Fan or Flood Jet) don't spray with insecticide / fungicide Nozzle (Hollow cone Nozzle) to control weeds.
7. Always spray in the opposite direction of the wind.
8. Always keep the height of Nozzle from the ground at 5.5 Feet (at your Knee height)
9. Don't move the lance during the spray left or right, always keep it straight.
10. Don't spray during frost / rainy season.
